Business Development Manager

Zoot’s Business Development Manager plays a key role in fostering strong relationships with our clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction, and supporting internal teams in delivering high-quality solutions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with technical and product teams to align client needs with our capabilities, facilitate smooth communication, and support client-focused initiatives across multiple jurisdictions. This role is ideal for an individual with strong management skills looking for an exciting move and a long-term career within an established digitalisation solutions provider for the financial services industry.

Responsibilities

  • Contributing to business development by supporting and managing clients through a proactive self-directed approach.
  • Supporting the discovery of clients’ needs and providing industry knowledge to improve relationships and outcomes.
  • Use industry knowledge to become a respected counterpart as someone who solves problems and delivers client successes.
  • Applying industry knowledge to help resolve client challenges and support effective implementation and ongoing usage of our solutions.
  • Assisting in the preparation of client-facing materials (e.g. presentations, solution brochures, white papers, press releases, etc.)
  • Collaborating with team members to support client engagement activities (online & offline)

Knowledge & Skills

Profile

  • 2–3 years of experience in client relationship management, account coordination, or implementation support within the financial services industry (e.g., fintech, payments, lending).
  • High levels of commercial awareness and business acumen with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with strong ownership of tasks and ability to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail, a methodical approach to tasks, and a high level of ownership and independence.
  • Fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English.
  • Positive, confident, and professional demeanour with excellent verbal and face-to-face presentation skills.
  • Team player skills required for effective collaboration with internal experts.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools.
  • Readiness for frequent travel within the Nordic countries and occasional trips to our offices in Europe.
  • University Degree or comparable education is desired.
  • Proficiency in Finnish at a professional level would be a plus.
